— The session journey

How a session unfolds.

  1. I

    Arrive

You're welcomed into a calm, private space and given a few minutes to settle in — set down your bag, take off your shoes, and have a glass of water or tea. We talk briefly about how you're feeling and anything you'd like the session to support.

  2. II

    Settle

A short guided meditation helps your breath lengthen and your nervous system begin to downshift, so the body has time to transition out of the day before the session begins.

  3. III

    Reiki session

A full Reiki session on a warm, comfortable table, fully clothed. Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing modality offered through a series of light, resting hand placements — or hands-off, just above the body, if you prefer. The intention is to support the body's own capacity to rest, regulate, and restore.

  4. IV

    Integrate

After Reiki, many people feel softened, sleepy, emotionally tender, or unusually clear. A few minutes of warm tea and unhurried conversation gives your system time to recalibrate before re-entering noise, screens, and traffic — which protects much of the benefit of the session.

— What is Reiki

A gentle Japanese wellness practice.

"Reiki is a gentle Japanese wellness practice often experienced as deeply calming and restorative."

Originating in early-twentieth-century Japan, Reiki carries a quiet spiritual lineage — a contemplative practice concerned with presence, compassion, and the well-being of body and spirit. It is offered here in that same spirit of care, without requiring any particular belief from the people who receive it.

Sessions are received fully clothed, on a warm table. The work is gentle — slow hand placements, soft attention, and space for the nervous system to land. Many clients describe it as one of the most restful hours they've spent in a long while.

Reiki is offered here as complementary wellness support — a way to come back to the body. It is not medical or psychological care, and it doesn't replace either. It moves gently alongside.
